Performance and Health of the Herd: The Effects of the “Tecnozoo Care”
Anna and Gianni Ruffato, father and daughter involved in managing the family farm, share their story and their fruitful collaboration with Tecnozoo. The farm in Santa Giustina in Colle (PD) primarily raises heifers of the Charolaise, Limousine, Blonde d’Aquitaine, and Obrak breeds.
“In our farm, we place great importance on the raw materials we use for feeding, as it is the foundation for achieving high-quality meat standards.” Thanks to this management, results quickly follow: the average increase for Charolaise cattle is 1.1 kg per day.
The agricultural production from the farm fields and the support provided by Tecnozoo make a very balanced feed possible: “We are very pleased with both the consulting service and the supplies, such as supplements and other raw materials that we can include in our feed. From a service perspective, we are happy with the collaboration we have with our veterinarian, which has been an additional advantage in improving our farm due to a more precise management.”
The main products used are two: the first is in the resting phase, called Hepatos, an immunostimulant detoxifier, while the second is a mineral feed supplement enriched with essential oils, called Beef 200 Extra OE.
