The fertility ally? Proper nutritional supplementation with Tecnozoo
We introduce Luca Gentile of the agricultural company G&D, founded by his great-grandfather about 80 years ago. The collaboration with Tecnozoo began during the dry period, thanks to the work with Dr. Alessandro Matarrese:
“We had issues after calving, related to retained placenta and also subsequent attachment issues after inseminations. The product we used for this phase was Dry Cow Fertil, with which we immediately saw results. Now, retained placenta cases have almost been eliminated, and our conception rate at first service is over 40%, compared to less than 15% before. The product used is Tecno Milk, which has led to results such as an increase in milk production by about two liters and stability in fat and protein levels even during the hottest periods.”
The company’s next goals are to improve the management of heifers and dairy calves to ensure a better and more productive future replacement.
